Marshall Township covers about 14 square miles in the northwest corner of Allegheny County, 5 miles and an 11-minute drive from our office along Perry Highway, Warrendale Bayne Road and Mingo Road. The township describes a rural atmosphere about 20 minutes from Pittsburgh by I-79 and I-279, and it surrounds Bradford Woods on three sides. Marshall is the growth edge of the North Allegheny district. Census estimates (ACS 2020–2024) put about three in five homes at 1990 or later, and the 2010s are the largest decade at almost 29 percent. The township counted 6,915 residents in 2010 and 10,080 in 2020. Planned communities range from the 55-and-over Blueberry Hill to townhomes at Fairmont Square and larger-lot builds such as The Reserve at Marshall, where builders describe homesites over half an acre, so we confirm access and door size before a visit.
